About Me

Eating Out with Kids

Hi. My name is Laurie Taylor. My husband Max and I have four children all under the age of twelve. One of the things we enjoy doing as a family is having a night out eating at a restaurant. You are probably thinking, "They enjoy eating at restaurants with four young children?" Yes, it can prove to be a challenge at times, but for the most part we have found ways to keep the children happy, and we all have a great time. There have been many times when other patrons have come up to us and comment on how well behaved our children are. I would like to share some of the ways we make eating out as a family an enjoyable experience for all. From toddler to Daddy, everyone has a lovely evening.

4 Reasons To Consider BBQ Catering For Your Wedding

When it comes to your wedding, you will want to make sure your guests are well-fed. You don't want the biggest story of your wedding to be how everyone was hungry and had to grab food on their way home. Serving the right food at your wedding can help make your wedding a more enjoyable experience. When it comes to the best food to serve at your wedding, you should consider serving BBQ food.

Reason #1: Less Stress

Cooking your food for your wedding is stressful. When you have to worry about getting ready, saying vows, and potentially set things up, the last thing you need to do is worry about food as well. Working with a catering company will reduce the overall stress of your planning and setting up your wedding. They can take care of your appetizers, main dinner, and desserts with a BBQ catering service. Most catering services can serve beverages as well, taking care of all your wedding food needs.

Reason #2: Affordable

Feeding a large group of people can be expensive. If you are on a budget, BBQ catering is a great choice, as you can quickly get high-quality food made at an affordable price. Most of the ingredients used to make BBQ food are affordable, making a large meal affordable.

Additionally, with a barbeque, people usually serve themselves. You can set-up a serve-yourself buffet or have the catering company scoop up food at the buffet. Either way, you don't have to pay to have courses brought out to people sitting at tables, which is another way to increase the cost of serving food at your wedding.

Reason #3: More Social

Next, BBQ food is more of social food. It is food that you can sit down and eat, but it is also food that you can stand around with your plate in your hand and enjoy as well. If you serve the food as a buffet, the experience will be more social. People can get up and down from their tables, getting food, and chatting with other guests. If you want a wedding where people interact with each other, this is a great way to achieve that goal.

Reason #4: Diverse Food

With a wedding, you want to have food that will meet your guests' many dietary needs. With BBQ food, it is easy to offer a wide range of food. For example, it is easy to cook a veggie burger alongside a regular burger. It is easy to serve vegetarian and vegan food, such as macaroni and cheese, collard green beans, salad, and cornbread. You can also quickly grab a bag of gluten-free hamburger buns. It can be easy and affordable to cater to different food needs with a barbeque catering service; just let them know what you need.

When it comes to catering your wedding, you should seriously consider using a barbeque catering service. They can provide you with social, enjoyable, diverse, and good tasting food, all at an affordable price.
