Eating Out with Kids

About Me

Eating Out with Kids

Hi. My name is Laurie Taylor. My husband Max and I have four children all under the age of twelve. One of the things we enjoy doing as a family is having a night out eating at a restaurant. You are probably thinking, "They enjoy eating at restaurants with four young children?" Yes, it can prove to be a challenge at times, but for the most part we have found ways to keep the children happy, and we all have a great time. There have been many times when other patrons have come up to us and comment on how well behaved our children are. I would like to share some of the ways we make eating out as a family an enjoyable experience for all. From toddler to Daddy, everyone has a lovely evening.

Learn How To Have Delicious Sandwiches Catered To Your Business

When you choose to have a business luncheon, it is important to take the time to order foods that everyone will be able to enjoy. When hiring a sandwich caterer to cater your business event, having a variety of food options available is essential. The guide below walks you through a few things to consider when ordering catering for your next business event:

Have a Variety of Bread Options Available

Take the time to have the caterers bring a few different bread options to the event. Have a low-carb and a gluten free bread option available for anyone who has a gluten intolerance or eats a low-carb diet.

Have High-Quality Meats Available

When you choose a caterer to cater the event, be sure that you choose one who uses high-quality meats. High-quality meats will more than likely taste great and not be filled with a lot of chemicals or unhealthy ingredients. Ask the caterer to provide ingredient labels for the meats that they plan to use to ensure that your staff is only eating the best meats possible.

Have a Variety of Cheeses Available

Cheese can enhance the taste of a sandwich. Have the caterer bring numerous cheeses with them so that your staff can try new options that they may not have tried before. Be sure that there are sliced, crumbled, and even spreadable cheeses available.

Ensure Both Hot and Cold Sandwiches Can be Served

There are some people who enjoy eating sandwiches cold, while others enjoy eating them hot. Be sure that the caterer has a portable oven that they can bring with them to use to make hot sandwiches for any of your staff who would prefer to have a hot sandwich.

Ensure Sides Are Available

A sandwich is often not enough to fill someone up fully. Be sure that the caterer has sides available for your staff to enjoy. Choose side salads, fruits, chips, and other small sides that can be enjoyed with the sandwiches.

You will need to provide the caterer with a headcount for everyone who will be at the event beforehand. This ensures that they provide you with enough food to fill everyone up. The caterer may require you to put down a deposit when you book the event. This provides them with the funds needed to purchase all of the food that will be used at your event. The rest of the funds will often be required at the end of the event, once you are happy with the catering that has been provided to you.
